Bond Court

The court has empowered the Commissioner to conduct 72 hour hearings and set bond for all offenders booked into the St. Tammany or Washington Parish Jail.  Those offenders who have been booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail are required to undergo drug testing.  Offenders who refuse to be drug tested or who have a positive drug test result are then referred to Bond Court for the monitoring of drug use as a condition of bond in addition to a set monetary fee.
